Furniture and fashion retailer The White Company is set to make its bricks-and-mortar debut in the US with plans to open a New York City store.

Opening in the city‘s famous Fifth Avenue this summer, there are also plans to open more stores in shopping centres across New York state, New Jersey and Connecticut.

The news comes as the lifestyle retailer, which already has an online presence in the US, recently reported “significant growth” in the second year of its ecommerce business over there.

The White Company currently has 56 stores across the UK.
