Arket to open second UK store in Covent Garden

H&M Group has revealed plans to a second Arket store in London well before its first store has even opened.

The second store for the fashion retailer, which is new concept from Stockholm-based H&M Group, will be located in Covent Garden at 27-29 Long Acre and will be Arket’s  third store globally once it opens later this year.

The brand’s  first London store is set to open this autumn in the unit vacated  by Banana Republic  at 224 Regent Street.

Arket,  which is Swedish for  ”sheet of paper”, is also in the process of opening a shop at the Købmagergade 33 in central Copenhagen.

H&M Group has said additional  Arket stores will open in Brussels and Munich in the near future.

The fascia’s London shops will offer own-label fashion and selected third-party brands, and an in-store cafe.

H&M also  opened a new & Other Stories, another one of its fascias, in Covent Gardens recently.
