New CFO for Clarks

Clarks has hired Paul Kenyon to be its new chief financial officer.

Kenyon will join the shoe retailer in August and will replace Mike Coley, who has been in the role on an interim basis.

The news comes  a fortnight after Clarks recorded a 43 per cent dive in full-year profits and a major restructure  of senior staff, where 60 roles have been  made redundant at its Somerset headquarters.

Kenyon currently works  at  Nomad Foods  in the same same role.

Prior to that, he  was also chief financial officer at Iglo Foods Holdings, a sub-brand of Nomad Foods.

“Paul brings a wealth of senior financial experience gained in complex international businesses,” Clarks chief executive Mike Shearwood said.

“He has a deep understanding of product and customer, understands the complexity of operating within a multi-national manufacturing business and associated supply chain, and has managed significant transformation programmes.

“Clarks is changing. With new and focused leadership, we are building an agile, innovation-led global brand, fit to face the challenges ahead.”
