Belstaff expands to Canada & Japan

Belstaff has opened its first standalone shop in Canada and while continuing its expansion efforts in Japan.

The British retailer’s debut Canadian store will be located in Yorkville Village, Toronto, and will open on September 1.

Billed as a pop-up by Belstaff, it will stock the heritage brand’s full menswear range, including outerwear, denim, footwear, accessories, eyewear and leather goods.

On the other side of the Pacific, Belstaff opened its fifth retail space in Tokyo, Japan with a concession in department store Hankyu Men.

It’s the latest opening for the retailer, which launched in Japan 18 months ago.

“Both openings represent the further strengthening of the roll-out of our strategy,” Belstaff chief executive Gavin Haig said.
