Fashion brand Lazy Oaf has temporarily shut down its website due to fire last weekend at its warehouse in Basildon, Essex.
The retailer — which trades online and via a shop in Soho, London — said nobody was harmed from the fire but the incident forced it to halt operations for the time being in order to focus on repairs.
“Due to a massive fire in our warehousing facility on Saturday night we have had to temporarily close our website,” a statement read on Lazy Oaf’s website.
“Luckily no-one was hurt, it took 100 fire fighters to tackle the flames who worked tirelessly through the night and we are devastated.
“Please bear with us while we have a little cry in the corner, pull ourselves together and come back with a bang!
“We hope to be back up and running in the next few days.”
