Popular sandal maker Birkenstock is set to open its first-ever standalone physical store in the UK in London’s Covent Garden.
The German brand’s new 1100sq ft flagship will be located in Seven Dials, at 48 Neal Street, and will during open this autumn.
The store will be split over ground and basement floor levels, and will stock the a collection of sandals for men, women and children.
It will be the only dedicated Birkenstock store in the capital.
Birkenstock is a sixth-generation family-run business with roots that can be traced back to 1774.
The news follows the recent opening of Japanese beauty brand Shiro’s new 961sq ft flagship nearby, at 63 Monmouth Street.
