Missguided wins prestigious National Business Award

Missguided has taken home the top gong for digital business at this year’s National Business Awards.

The brand was also the only retailer to have won an award at the prestigious event, which is now in its 16th year.

The Manchester-based bricks-and-clicks retailer was honoured with the Digital Business of the Year Award during a recent ceremony held in London.

This award recognises the best of ecommerce, and judges felt Missguided’s success has been built thanks to constant innovation and an understanding of its customers and innovation.

The retailer, founded in 2009 as an online-only retailer, was also recognised for its strong social media following and its successful move in to bricks-and-mortar retail late last year.

“2017 has been a great year for the brand with the launch of our second retail store at Bluewater, Kent and the launch of our global campaign with model Jourdan Dunn,” Missguided brand marketing manager Rachael Dennis said.

“The teams have done (and continue to do) an amazing job and this award is testament to that.”
