Net-a-Porter launches Gucci childrenswear range

Net-a-Porter is set to enter the childrenswear market with a pop-up store in partnership with luxury brand Gucci.

The online retailer will launch the pop-up on July 16 for six-weeks, selling items for both boys and girls younger than 12.

Gucci’s line includes babygros, dresses, playsuits and hoodies, with prices ranging between £100 and £2000.

Net-a-Porter’s sister brand Mr Porter also recently broke into the market with its beachwear line for children.

“The kidswear pop-up on Net-a-Porter is such an exciting moment for us,” Net-a-Porter president Alison Loehnis said.

“It’s our first foray into the category, and we’ve found the perfect partner in Gucci,”

“With Mr Porter’s kidswear project also underway, this really marks the beginning of something special”
