Amazon has announced the launch of Amazon Live, which features live-streamed video shows from Amazon marketplace traders in a bid to compete with TV shopping channel QVC.
Amazon Live will also feature traders that broadcast from live streams through its new app Amazon Live Creator, which will host talks on demonstrations for products consumers can find on sale on Amazon, similar to QVC.
The feature allows shoppers to stream more than one video at the same time so they can pick which one interests them the most.
For Valentine’s Day, Amazon Live is streaming a gift shop show to drive sales.
Customers can view the different videos to change streams, as well as scroll down to watch recordings of the videos which were live.
The feature is also available on smartphones via the Amazon Live app.
Amazon will also update its consumers on when the next live video will be.
