Property giant Shaftesbury has announced a line up of four new international retailers to open in London’s Carnaby district.
Columbia Sportswear, Izipizi, Subdued, and Muhle will open their doors to London shoppers early this year.
Shaftesbury has also revealed that the existing Our Legacy store will be part of an expansion program.
Active outdoor apparel retailer Columbia Sportswear will open as a flagship store providing two floors and 2465sq ft of floor space.
“Announcing the arrival of our London flagship store is another milestone for Columbia just a year after celebrating our 80th anniversary,” Columbia EMEA vice president Matthieu Schegg said.
“London is a world-renowned shopping city and we look forward to engaging with Carnaby’s active consumers and global visitors, sharing Columbia’s rich heritage and innovative products.”
French eyewear retailer Izipizi will open later this month, while the store from Italian teenage-wear retailer Subdued its first UK store.
Swedish retailer Our Legacy will open its first UK womenswear store in Carnaby due to high demand after its menswear store, which opened in 2014, was a success.
“We are excited to see the healthy demand from influential international brands wanting to open their first UK store in Carnaby,” Shaftesbury senior retail portfolio manager Addy Williams said.
“These brands are seeking a destination with seven days a week footfall and a good demographic customer, coupled with our unrivalled events and marketing strategy that supports the retailers and gives our visitors great customer experiences.
