Alertr, an online price tracking website, tracked 18 of the most popular items Brits buy for their Christmas dinner across the major supermarkets to determine which one was cheapest.
Some supermarkets, such as Aldi, Lidl and convenience grocers, were not included in the research due to the inability to shop the full range of items online from those stores.
While Morrisons was the cheapest, with an average Christmas dinner shop of £52.75, Asda came second at £56.61.
Icelend rounded out the top three with £57.16, followed by Sainsbury’s in fourth at £64.15 and Tesco in fifth at £65.86.
Ocado and Waitrose had the highest prices, at £85.30 and £88.50 respectively.
