The group managing director of Selfridges has been named as one of the three finalists in a prestigious award that honours the impact of female leadership across the UK.
Anne Pitcher has been shortlisted for the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman award alongside Starling Bank founder Anne Boden and Vaneles Diamonds founder Vania Leles.
Veuve Clicquot said its awards, which have been running since 1972, honour inspirational women with a track record of success.

Judges noted Pitcher’s innovation to grow Selfridges in a tough retail market as well as her ongoing commitment to sustainability.
The winners will be announced at an award ceremony in London in May.

“By boldly taking on challenges such as market turbulence and heavy industry competition, they are inspiring the next generation of female leaders to challenge convention and follow in their footsteps.”
