Marks & Spencer has kicked off a recruitment process in search of a new community manager after its alumni network hit 5000 members in its first two weeks.
The retailer’s alumni network, M&S Family, was launched only two weeks ago and has attracted sign-ups from former staff members from the UK around the world – from Delhi to Melbourne to Chicago.
M&S said it showed “the passion and enthusiasm for the brand amongst M&S’s former staff members.

In response, M&S said it would recruit a community manager to manage and help further grow the network.
The high street stalwart said M&S Family members could transform the business as it pushes on with its Never The Same Again turnaround strategy.
M&S chief strategy and transformation director Katie Bickerstaffe is the main sponsor of the M&S Family network.
