// Features instant real-time view of stock availability at nearest Toolstation store for delivery or click-and-collect

Toolstation has launched a new app for both trade and DIY customers to provide them with easier and faster shopping services online.

The news comes as the hardware and DIY retailer opens its 500th store.

The new app means customers can have an instant real-time view of stock availability at their nearest Toolstation store for delivery or click-and-collect.

After signing in, customers can save items for later through “saved lists” and search through over 20,000 products by category, type, price, brand or features.

The app also includes recommended product bolt-ons and customers can checkout and pay using a credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or their PayPal account.

Customers can set their nearest or preferred Toolstation shop as a favourite and check for click-and-collect availability or delivery stock levels on every product, reserve items and pay in-store or through the app.

Customers can also access a unique QR code for fast check-out in store by simply presenting it at the till to share their account details.

The new app will also enable Trade Credit customers to fully manage their accounts on the go.

“We know our customers are incredibly busy, so our new app will help make it easier still for them to work smarter and quicker by ordering to their nearest site or home and manage their accounts from their pocket,” Toolstation managing director James MacKenzie said.

“At just the tap of a button, our customers can now check their credit accounts, pay balances and download their invoices, which means they can quickly wave goodbye to large amounts of paperwork.”
