Holland & Barrett gives store staff 9% pay rise

Holland & Barrett will increase its pay to store colleagues by 9%, from £10.05 to £11 an hour.

Its distribution colleagues are to receive a 7% increase from £10.71 to £11.46 an hour.

The pay rise will come into effect from 1 April and means the hourly rate for store colleagues has increased by 15% in the last year.

The retailer said store colleagues will also receive a 25% discount and free online delivery, life assurance for all staff, access to healthcare, free 24/7 confidential employee assistance programme, flexible holidays, access to gyms and wellbeing services, free folic acid for parents-to-be and a cycle to work scheme.

“We know our wellness starts with theirs, so we’re delighted to be able to increase pay again for our hourly paid colleagues.”
