Harrods has launched its Christmas windows for 2023 at its Knightsbridge store.

This year, its arrangement centres around the theme of extraordinary gifts, featuring window displays, exclusive brand partnerships, and in-store immersive experiences.

Harrods has partnered with luxury design house Maison Valentino for the display.

The collaboration includes a 9m tall Christmas tree decorating the entrance, a pop-up truck serving Valentino hot beverages and festive treats, and an installation showcasing its seasonal collection and accessories.

Valentino is also dressing some of the windows with festive displays that capture its brand and the excitement of Christmas.

Harrods creative visual director Alexander Wells-Greco said: “Our iconic and enchanting window displays, which wrap the store, have always been a focus for this time of year.

“This year, our Christmas windows, from Valentino to Dior Beauty and many more, harmoniously embrace the theme of extraordinary gifts and the act of giving during the holiday season”.

The Studio Frantzén terrace, located on the top floor of the store, will also be transformed into a winter wonderland in partnership with Don Julio 1942 for the festive season, including a New Year’s Eve soiree.

In August, Harrods posted rising profits and sales for the year to 28 January 2023, as its Knightsbridge flagship returned to normal trading post-pandemic.

Turnover at the department store soared year on year from £581.9m to £831.6m, while gross transaction value was up 47%.
