Farfetch appoints Latin America exec as Net-a-Porter CEO

Farfetch has promoted its previous Latin America vice president Daniel Funis as Yoox Net-a-Porter CEO.

The executive takes over from interim Yoox Net-a-Porter chief executive Alison Loehnis, who has led the business since October last year.

Funis, who is based in São Paulo, is likely to start his new position during the new year, Drapers reports.

The new CEO initially joined Farfetch back in 2011, serving as managing director for Brazil.

Funis went on to become vice president for Latin America in 2017 and led a “special project” for the company during 2021 to 2022.

In August, Farfetch named Tim Stone as its new chief financial officer, taking over from Elliot Jordan.

Earlier in the year, the ecommerce company also hired TikTok exec Nick Tran as its new chief marketing officer, tasked with overseeing all global marketing functions for Farfetch marketplaces.
