Ocado kick-starts new year with 1,700 price cuts

Ocado has launched price cuts on more than 1,700 products under its Big Price Drop, with an average reduction of 5% across the range.

The move makes it the fifth round of price cuts for the retailer since June 2023, taking the total number of products reduced to over 3,000.

Products in the latest round of cuts include customer favorites such as M&S Italian Mozzarella, Nestle Shreddies and Ocado Houmous.

The retailer’s reductions sit alongside the Ocado Price Promise which matches prices to Tesco.com on over 10,000 items, including Clubcard prices.

Ocado Retail CEO Hannah Gibson said: “We know many of our customers will be looking for value this January. So, we’ve started the year by adding even more products to our Big Price Drop.

“The combination of our range and unrivalled service paired with 1,700 new lower prices means we’re offering the best experience for our customers.”

Ocado slashed prices on over 500 items, including autumn and winter favourites, as part of its “Big Price Drop” initiative in October, with prices reduced by an average of 8%.
