Wilko relaunches click and collect as it ramps up store rollout plans

Wilko is relaunching its free click-and-collect service, which will be available from 217 locations nationwide.

Customers will be able to choose from more than 30,000 products and pick-up their orders from the retailer’s growing number of reopened stores and via 200 collection points from owner The Range’s stores.

Shoppers can collect orders from two hours after ordering, within store opening times.

The news comes after the hardware shop opened new stores in Exeter, Luton, Plymouth, St Albans and Rotherham with more planned throughout the rest of 2024.

Alex Simpkin, CEO of CDS Superstores, which trades as Wilko, said: “We’re getting great feedback as we reopen Wilko stores as part of our ongoing roll out programme. We’re also getting lots of requests from loyal customers asking when their town or city will be next.

“This latest addition to wilko.com means we can make products available immediately in over 200 new locations so busy customers and their families can easily get the things they need for their home and garden jobs.”

Last month, the business launched a new tool and equipment rental service, called Wilkohire, which it described as “the ultimate tool and equipment hire service”.

The service, operated in partnership with EasyToolhire, allows customers to hire everything they need for their jobs, including gardening, landscaping, cleaning, drilling, painting and decorating.
