Kurt Geiger has enjoyed a record Christmas after December became the brand’s most profitable month in its 62-year history.
The retailer reported a 17% growth in its direct-to-consumer business last month as handbag sales rocketed 54% over the festive period.
The positive performance comes as the British label readies itself for “going big in North America”, its chief executive Neil Clifford said.

Kurt Geiger is planning to open five new stores on the other side of the Atlantic, including Los Angeles, San Diego, New York and Mexico City.
It said the spaces will be designed around a refreshed marquee design concept that it debuted at its 3,000sq ft Oxford Street flagship in London, which opened in September 2023.
