Whole Foods Market has opened a new store today (23 April) in Liverpool Street, London.
The new store, which is based on Blomfield Street and spans 3,315 sq ft, has been designed with busy City workers in mind, offering a “convenient, grab-and-go format tailored to the needs of office commuters and lunchtime shoppers”.
Shoppers can expect “high-quality natural and organic products” alongside “fresh, ready-to-eat meals and everyday essentials” according to the retailer.
Additionally, a “curated selection across fresh produce, prepared foods, bakery, and grocery” will be available, with a “strong focus on quick, high-quality lunch options and convenient meals for those on the go”.
The Liverpool Street store will also sell hot food offerings and self-serve coffee, providing “fast and easy options” for breakfasts, lunch and evening meals.
To celebrate the opening, the shop’s first 200 visitors will receive tote bags and a £5 voucher to spend in-store.
The opening forms part of Whole Foods Market’s continued growth in London. In March, it was reported that the brand would launch six new London stores by June.
The new launches are set to double the supermarket’s UK store portfolio to 12.
