Footwear specialist Office has signed a 10-year lease for a new store at Derbion shopping centre.

The 6,444 sq ft store will form the latest fashion chain to sign at the retail destination in Derby.

The shopping centre has welcomed FatFace, Crew Clothing, Victoria’s Secret, and Seasalt over recent months, and has also unveiled that Primark will be moving to a new 40,000 sq ft store next year.

Office managing director Jon Richens said: “We are thrilled to be bringing our array of brands to Derby and even more excited to be coming to Derbion.

“The shopping centre’s location in the heart of the city centre gives us great access to Derby’s growing population, meanwhile, Derbion’s reputation as the East Midland’s go-to destination for retail and leisure will allow us to reach shoppers from across the region.” 

Derbion managing director Beth McDonald added: “This agreement with Office sees us introduce another UK fashion favourite to Derbion and follows a string of new openings. 

“It is also another example of retailer investment into Derbion where we have seen existing international and UK brands commit to new store refits and upsizes as they enhance the customer experience.

“With Primark set to open their new store next year, we are continuing to grow Derbion’s reputation as the home of fashion in the East Midlands where leading brands want to be.”
