Denby Pottery is no longer accepting online orders, following its administration in March and production at the 200-year old brand ending last month.

In a statement to its online community, Denby said: “It is with great sadness that, following Denby entering administration, www.denbypottery.com is no longer accepting online orders.

“Our website has been Denby’s online home for many years, giving us the opportunity to share not only our Made in England collections, but also the craftsmanship, heritage and stories behind our brand and connect with customers across the UK and around the world.”

The Derbyshire firm stressed that existing ecommerce orders will be fulfilled with the “warehouse team working incredibly hard” following unprecedented demand.

The website will remain accessible for the time being, allowing Denby to share any updates regarding its stores.

The brand added any shoppers hoping to add to their Denby collection can visit outlet stores which remain open. Offers of at least 50 per cent off across its ranges are available, while stocks last.

Founded in 1809, the ceramics company appointed administrators after it had struggled with rising energy and labour costs.
