Space NK and PURESEOUL have opened new stores at Lakeside as the Essex shopping centre strengthens its beauty and wellness line-up.
K-beauty retailer PURESEOUL has made its regional debut at the centre with a 1,919 sq ft store on Level 1.
The shop carries more than 30 beauty brands, including Torriden, AMUSE, TIRTIR, Beauty of Joseon and Medicube, and also features a dedicated workshop space aimed at creating a more discovery-led shopping experience.
PURESEOUL co-founder and chief executive Leslie Tang said Lakeside had been an “easy choice” for the retailer due to its catchment, tenant mix and visitor base.
She said: “We are confident that we can deliver the best of K-Beauty, and that we are in the right place to reach greater heights.”
Meanwhile, Space NK has opened its latest store concept on Level 2 in a 3,665 sq ft unit.
Its range spans makeup, skincare and fragrance and includes brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Rare Beauty, REFY, Drunk Elephant and Olaplex.
The two openings add to Lakeside’s growing beauty offer and target the centre’s catchment of 8.5 million people within a one-hour drive.
Robert Jewell, managing director of asset management at Pradera, said: “The openings of PURESEOUL and Space NK mark a significant milestone for enhancing our beauty offer, as we continue to deliver an unrivalled level of visitor choice.
“The pair exemplify the calibre of premium retail that has become synonymous with the scheme, and remind us of Lakeside’s position as one of the UK’s most in-demand leading lifestyle destinations.”
The beauty launches follow a series of additions to Lakeside’s jewellery offer, including signings for Browns Jewellers, Ernest Jones and Diamonds Factory, alongside an upsize and reinvestment from Beaverbrooks.
Lakeside is owned and operated by SGS UK Retail and is asset managed by Pradera.
