Aldi has given its Barnet, London, store a makeover to celebrate the launch of the new Barbie Aldimania Dreamland Doll.
The discounter’s logo has been turned Barbie pink at the store from 1 September to 10 September, creating a photo opportunity for fans and shoppers to enjoy ahead of the doll’s launch.
The transformation celebrates the arrival of the new doll in the supermarket’s stores from 6 September as part of the retailer’s September toy event.
The Barbie includes Aldi touches, wearing a bright pink Aldi logo dress with matching sun visor, sunglasses and shoes.
The doll also has a haul of Aldi-inspired accessories including a shopping bag, trolley, foodie favourites, flask, table tennis rackets and customisable stickers.
The Barbie Aldimania Dreamland Doll will form one of Aldi’s Specialbuys while stocks last.
Aldi UK chief commercial officer Julie Ashfield said: “A new doll has entered the Dreamhouse!
“What better way to celebrate the launch of our very own Barbie Aldimania Dreamland Doll than with a Barbie pink takeover of our Barnet store in London.
“We’re excited to see the doll hit the shelves and bring a little extra joy to collectors, shoppers and Barbie fans across the country.”
