Mango’s refreshed loyalty programme, ‘Mango Style Club’, will be introduced to the UK and Ireland, as well as Germany, Austria and Switzerland, following its successful launch in Spain and France last year.
Featuring three tiers, the new membership scheme is designed to create a rewarding pathway for customers to get closer to the brand and “feel value from being part of the Mango community”.
‘Style Insider’, ‘Style Curator’ and ‘Style Icon’ have been built to offer customers a more personalised experience.
Subscribing to the newsletter; visiting a store to recycle garments; return online orders or collect purchases enables consumers to earn their way through the loyalty scheme.
Its renewed loyalty programme forms part of Mango’s wider investment into digital and data. It is also growing its physical UK presence.
Mango’s profits and sales grew in March, as the Spanish fashion brand unveiled plans to open 15 new UK shops this year.
Operating profit grew 13 per cent year on year (YOY) to £627.3m, as net profit also jumped 11 per cent YOY to £210.3m.
Sales increased 13 per cent YOY to £3.3bn, which also rose 16 per cent at constant exchange rates.
Womenswear represented 79 per cent of its total turnover over the year, as it remained the main pillar of its business.
Online revenues also make up a third of the company’s total sales to date.
