adidas Originals has unveiled the Gazelle indoor solar gold, the newest colourway within its ongoing partnership with Grammy award winner Bad Bunny.
The colourway is inspired by themes of evolution, growth and change that have shaped the artist’s music. It is modelled on the colours of the Caribbean sunset.
The shoe features a honey yellow suede upper, leather lining and gum outsole.
According to the pair, the collaboration has been a “canvas to tell deeply personal stories rooted in Puerto Rico; stories about place, identity, memory, and home”.
The first item released as part of the partnership was the Suan Juan blue Gazelle, which was inspired by the first Puerto Rican music shop in New York City, Casa Amadeo.
The pair then released the Gazelle City series during Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican residency, which spotlighted three areas of the island. The Gazelle El Yunque drew on the biodiversity of the tropical rainforest and featured deep green tones.
Gazelle Santurce was orange and aimed to capture the neighbourhood’s spirit and its role as the centre of Puerto Rican music and dance scene. The Gazelle Cabo Rojo was bright pink and modelled off of the areas pink waters and salt flats.
adidas said: “More than a sneaker, the Gazelle franchise is one of the defining silhouettes of the adidas Originals and Bad Bunny partnership; a platform for storytelling that connected Benito’s personal memories with global cultural narratives.
“The Gazelle Indoor Solar Gold honors that legacy while looking forward to what comes next.”
It will be available globally from October 17 2026 online, via the CONFIRMED app and at selected retailers. Signups open today (13 October).
