British Garden Centres has unveiled an animated advert for Christmas 2026.

Titled Where the Magic Begins, the ad will be available via streaming on Netflix and Disney+ and on YoutTube and social media.

The 30 second hero spot hopes to capture the “pure, unadulterated sparkle of Christmas at British Garden Centres”. It follows Joy, an elf from the North Pole, as she attempts to top up the Christmas magic metre by visiting a British Garden Centre store.

In the store, she is welcomed by Amy Stubbs, managing director and her mission begins. She can be seen wandering through aisles of Christmas decorations and transforming other store colleagues Bernard, Georgie and Charlie, into festive characters.

Lucy Hewitt, Marketing Campaigns Manager at British Garden Centres, said: “There is something truly spellbinding about walking into a garden centre at Christmas.

“The smell of real pine, the sea of sparkling lights, and the excitement in children’s eyes- it’s where special memories are born. Our new advert captures that feeling of wonder and reminds us all that when families gather, laugh, and share the season, that’s where the real magic begins.”
