Abercrombie & Fitch joins McArthurGlen

Designer outlet group McArthurGlen will welcome US fashion giant Abercrombie & Fitch to its Kent outlet next week as the label makes its European designer outlet debut, it has been announced today.

Offering garments for men and women, the new store in Ashford will also feature products from Abercrombie Kids.

Opening on May 9th 2013, the store will sit alongside fashion brands including Superdry, Fred Perry and Ted Baker.

The McArthurGlen Group has nearly 1.7 million sq ft of new space currently underway or in planning as it continues to expand its portfolio, including an outlet in Vancouver, Canada late next year.

Commenting on the Abercrombie opening, McArthurGlen Group CEO Julia Calabrese said: “We are thrilled to welcome Abercrombie & Fitch to McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, in what is their first venture in the European designer outlet market.

“We are sure that Abercrombie & Fitch will be a huge hit with our fashion-loving shoppers, seeking the signature Abercrombie & Fitch style.

“This is a fantastic addition to the McArthurGlen portfolio, and we look forward to developing this partnership.”
