DiscountVouchers.co.uk appoints new director of online strategy

Money saving website DiscountVouchers.co.uk has appointed Kathryn Wright as director of online strategy to boost engagement with subscribers and establish an online community for money conscious consumers.

Wright will lead the development of the site to make sure community members have access to cost-cutting advice, tips.and discounts.

Kathryn joins the company from Blurtit.com, an online Q&A website where she managed its content quality. She led the digital strategy to increase user engagement and establish an active database of members.

Commenting on her new position, Kathryn said: “DiscountVouchers.co.uk has six million active subscribers and I will be working to increase their engagement and improve user experience by expanding our services to include personalised offers and I will be driving the strategy to establish an online community”

Since its launch in 2009 DiscountVouchers.co.uk has seen daily visitors to its site increase to 50,000. Its Facebook page currently has 77,000 active members who can access to the latest competitions, news and money saving advice.

The DiscountVouchers.co.uk website features money saving offers from both major high street brands and specialist retailers, including stores such as Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury‘s, Travelodge, First Choice, Lastminute and Next.
