High street coffee giant Costa has announced Kate Seljeflot as its new HR director.
Seljeflot replaces Jo Bennett, who took her retirement at the end of September, and began her role last week, reporting to managing director Dominic Paul.
She joined Costa following a 14-year posting at Diageo plc, leaving the position of global talent director. In her previous role she oversaw the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy and was responsible for senior appointments.
As Costa group HR director she will oversee employee related issues as well as executive talent appointments, resource planning, recruitment and training.
“We are delighted to announce Kate as our Global HR Director. She will be a driving force in the continued expansion of our workforce at a highly progressive time,” Paul said.
“Costa is an incredibly people-centric business and we want to retain our heritage and DNA while continuing to grow.”
A new global talent director has also been appointed, Priya Farish will now adopt the role and report to Seljeflot.
