Porsche has parked itself in Liverpool One shopping centre with the opening of the car brand‘s first pop-up store to have cars on display that is also open and accessible to the public.

The Porsche Life installation takes up 3000sq ft of retail space and is located at the shopping centre‘s Peter‘s Lane precinct alongside Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols, Michael Kors and Hugo Boss.

The store has been designed to immerse visitors in the Porsche brand, complete with gesture control screens and a “Sound of Porsche” installation.

Porsche Life also features a living room, kitchen, lounge and home office, with each designed to indicate how visitors‘ lives with Porsche could look.

Porsche models on display include the new 911 GTS and the Macan S Diesel SUV, and with no sales process on-site, the concept is instead designed to be a meeting point for Porsche enthusiasts and a chance to experience the brand first hand.

British Porsche factory race driver and 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours winner, Nick Tandy, will also be supporting various activities around the pop-up experience on selected dates.

“Liverpool One is a great location and we are delighted to have opened Porsche Life on Peter’s Lane,” Porsche Great Britain marketing general manager Ragnar Schulte said.

“The pop-up experience offers every visitor the opportunity to explore first-hand the stories and legends that underpin the Porsche brand.”
