Womenswear retailer Quiz has announced a new partnership with ecommerce giant Zalando amid its bid to push international expansion.
A range of evening-wear, occasion-wear and casual-wear will now be available to purchase through Zalando’s platform. Initially this will launch across Zalando’s German site, but will launch across France and the UK shortly afterwards.
The partnership will be based on a direct dispatch model, seeing all orders made through Zalando’s platform be dispatched from Quiz’s Glasgow hub.
Zalando is Europe’s largest online fashion platform and the new partnership marks a significant step in Quiz’s online push. For the 12 months to March 31 2016 Quiz saw a 33 per cent rise in online sales, pushing overall sales up 18 per cent.
In March this year the company’s online sales skyrocketed 103 per cent, and Zalando is now poised to ensure continued online growth internationally.
“Zalando is a key strategic partner as we look to expand our reach and deliver a great brand experience to customers in these markets,” Quiz’s business development director Sheraz Ramzan said.
“We are seeing fantastic growth online and our partnership with Zalando further reinforces our plans to expand our international presence and make our offering more accessible to women all over the world.”
