Missguided finance boss resigns

The chief financial officer of Missguided, Paul Masters, has departed the retailer after almost two and a half years.

Master joined the fashion brand in February 2015, when Missguided was still an online-only fashion retailer.

It has now expanded into bricks-and-mortar retail with two standalone stores in Westfield Stratford, east London and in Bluewater shopping centre, Kent.

It is not yet known what Masters’ next career move will be.

“We can confirm that Paul Masters has left by amicable and mutual agreement following discussions around the long-term strategy for the business,” a Missguided spokeswoman said.

“Nitin Passi, CEO, would like to personally thank Paul for the tremendous contribution he has made to both the success of Missguided over the last two years and in laying foundations for the next phase of growth for the business.

“We all wish him every success in his career going forward.”

Prior to Missguided, Masters worked at Bench for six years as finance director and interim chief executive.

Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Umbro working his way up to director of group finance and investor relations.

The news comes a day after Missguided it was working with Doddle‘s proprietary click-and-collect technology solution Powered by Doddle for use in their two flagship stores at Westfield and Bluewater.
