Smeg opens first ever retail store in London

Iconic kitchen appliances brand Smeg has opened its first-ever standalone store in UK with a flagship in central London.

Located in a heritage building at 14 Regent Street in St James’s Market, the store takes up 6400sq ft and is split over three floors.

While it mainly acts as a retail space showcasing the Italian brand’s full range of domestic appliances and accessories, the store also features produce from Montecoppe,
Smeg’s own Italian farm, including Parmesan cheeses, balsamic vinegars and wines, all of which can be purchased in store.

Meanwhile, the mezzanine level is a dedicated design lounge and meeting space and the basement contains a purpose-built theatre for cooking demonstrations.

Customers are also provided with a customary espresso or coffee from Smeg’s machines.
