Retail Gazette Loves: Lacoste’s Save Out Species collection

French fashion retailer Lacoste has partnered with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to produce a limited-edition line of its iconic polo shirts.

The Lacoste X Save Our Species range of 1775 shirts launched at the end of February in Paris Fashion Week and has already sold out across Europe.

Each of the 10 limited edition designs swaps Lacoste’s classic crocodile logo for an endangered species including the Javan Rhino, the Sumatran Tiger and the Burmese Roofed Turtle.

The number of each shirt created will correspond to the number of endangered species left alive in the world.
