Monsoon Accessorize has appointed Laura Harricks as its new digital director, as it looks to enhance and improve its ecommerce business.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Harricks has been with the retailer since July, when she replaced former ecommerce director Dale Western.
She was previously with Dixons Carphone for almost three years, latterly as online trading and marketing director for the company’s Carphone Warehouse fascia, and five years with Dixons Retail before that.

Her move to Monsoon Accessorize comes shortly after chief executive Paul Allen exited after six years in the role.
Meanwhile, Western’s exit in July followed the retailer’s announcement that up to 50 head office roles to enter redundancy consultation.
Harricks also joins Monsoon Accessorize as it pushes on with its CVA, which was approved by creditors in June.
The CVA features rent cut on about half of its 258 stores in the range of 25 per cent to 65 per cent.
Monsoon Accessorize said it would not close any stores.
