Love Island finalist Indiyah Polack has signed a six-figure deal to be the face of PrettyLittleThing’s online marketplace which launched earlier this week.

The former waitress revealed she’s set to be the “first ever” ambassador for a new, re-sale focused area of the fast fashion retailer, PLT Marketplace.

The 23-year-old announced the news on her Instagram this morning to confirm she was the latest signing by the fast fashion brand, just a week after fellow islander Gemma Owen revealed her signing as a brand ambassador last week.

Sharing the news on social media alongside photos from the marketing campaign, Indiyah wrote: “I am the FIRST EVER ambassador for @prettylittlething Marketplace!!”

“This is a dream come true and I can’t wait to bring you all on the journey with me! 05.09.22 Watch this space.”

Indiyah will be selling pre-loved outfits that she wore in the villa on the PLT Marketplace app, which allows users to sell pieces they no longer wear and give them the chance to buy something new.

Money maker: The Love Island finalist, who finished in third place with boyfriend Dami Hope, had been in talks with the online retail giant for weeks following the rise of her popularity among viewers

In another statement, she added: “As soon as I knew PLT wanted me to support this initiative and be the ambassador for the marketplace, where the focus is on re-wearing and re-selling which is something that’s important to me, I knew I wasn’t going to turn the opportunity down.

“I’ve taken my time coming out of the villa, ensuring I have the best management team on board to help me with my career, but I’m so excited we can finally announce this partnership and share it with everyone.”

In a one-year partnership with PLT, Indiyah will be starring in her own TV advert to launch the resale platform, which will hit screens next week.

PLT chief executive Umar Kamani confirmed that it was always their intention to sign Indiyah, but it took time to arrange the lucrative collaboration.

Kamani told MailOnline: “Indiyah will be launching our new resale app as an exclusive seller. This was always our plan but due to hectic schedules, we were not able to confirm the announcements in the order that we planned.”
