Sephora has appointed Sarah Boyd as managing director of its UK business, just two months after the LVMH-owned beauty giant re-entered the UK market through the launch of a website and dedicated campaign.

She will start January 2, 2023 and will report to Sylvie Moreau, president of Sephora Europe and Middle East.

Boyd joined Sephora in 2018 and has held the position of general manager of Southeast Asia and Oceania, as well as vice president, head of markets and new ventures for South East Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, she was responsible for 16 countries while she has previously worked for groups such as L’Oréal, Coca Cola and was commercial director of the Bourjois brand in the UK.

In a LinkedIn post, Boyd said: “I am extremely proud and excited to share that I’m starting a new position as managing director at Sephora UK. Back to my home country, and without a doubt one of the most advanced and discerning beauty markets in the world.

“I’m ready to work with the Feelunique team to continue their journey to bring the Sephora magic to the UK. Leading the SEA & Oceania markets for the past few years has been a great honour and a privilege.”
