Retail Gazette Awards begins search for the biggest retail game changers in 2023

// New categories join “unapologetically different” free-to-enter and attend industry celebration
// Entries across all categories are open from today, May 2nd, 2023

The second annual Retail Gazette Awards has opened for entries with retailers invited to celebrate their credentials as true game changers in the industry.

This year’s event, taking place on October 18th, follows the inaugural awards last year that saw brands like Aldi, Lush, Sook, Silentnight, Dreams and more take home the honours on the night.

This year’s Retail Gazette Awards promises to be bigger and better, with four new categories: Game Changing Store of 2023, Fashion Game Changer, Grocery Game Changer, and Game Changing Team added to the lineup.

The new categories join a list that celebrates all aspects of the retail industry including Best Retailer Over £500m, Best Retailer Under £500m, Direct to Consumer (DTC) Game Changer, Ecommerce Game Changer, Marketing Game Changer, Sustainability Game Changer, Workplace Game Changer and Supply Chain Game Changer.

Retail Gazette events director Nikita Wolski said: “The Retail Gazette Awards are unapologetically different. Our goal is to celebrate all the amazing game changing brands and personalities that make our industry so dynamic and unique.

“By ditching the formal dress and removing the high-cost of entry we’ve made it all about celebrating the true champions: the people and brands that are making such a positive impact.”
