River Island has opened the doors to its brand-new concept store inside Manchester’s Trafford Centre.
The 21,000 sq ft space located on the top floor of the former Topshop unit offers design-led womenswear clothing, accessories and the retailer’s denim range. It also stocks menswear and kids clothing.

The store provides a fully integrated shopping experience with interactive fitting rooms and self-service tills.
River Island digital and marketing director Gemma Scarfe said: “We are extremely excited to announce River Island’s brand-new store in Trafford Centre.
“Manchester has been on our radar for some time; it has continued to receive huge investment over the last few years and has cemented its position as a world-class city.
“We’re delighted to have identified a new, larger retail space that will deliver a fun and refreshing shopping experience to our loyal customers as well as complement the thriving city.”
The fashion retailer opened its first concept store, River Studios, in Derby last September, giving shoppers an “elevated experience” as part of its ambitious plans to reinvigorate retail.
