Redundancies loom at Farfetch amid company-wide restructure

Farfetch is making redundancies across its London and New York teams amid a company-wide restructure.

The luxury etailer has cut 10 jobs from its London-based marketing team alongside some of its New York-based tech team, Drapers reported.

Some roles in the customer service and fashion styling team, as well as at product management have also been impacted.

The deadline for redundancy packages has passed and as such, Farfetch has ramped up the process.

Alongside the job cuts, the etailer is also looking to downsize its London six-floor head office.

The restructure comes after Farfetch revealed it had swung to a loss after tax of £140.5m in the three months to 31 March, down from a profit of £587m in the quarter last year.
