Sephora to open third UK store in Manchester

Sephora is launching its third UK store in Manchester, as it seeks to expand in the North of England.

The shop is set to open in summer 2024 in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, after the business launched its first two stores in London in March and November this year.

The cosmetics retailer insisted the store will “redefine the beauty landscape in the North with an extraordinary product range”.

Sephora claimed the store will bring “the best in beauty” featuring various exclusive brands, including Glossier and Makeup by Mario.

The site will feature a 5,382 sq ft sales floor, providing “an immersive and unparalleled shopping experience for beauty enthusiasts in the North”.

Sephora UK managing director Sarah Boyd said: “We are extremely excited to bring Sephora to Manchester, one of the most vibrant cities for beauty in the UK.

“Expanding our presence beyond London is something that consumers have been screaming out for, and we are listening hard to them when deciding where to go next!”

She continued: “The Trafford Centre, known for its iconic atmosphere and diverse retail offering, is the perfect location for our third store.”

Pradera Lateral managing director, which manages the Trafford Centre’s assets, Russell Loveland added: “This iconic beauty giant already has a cult following and our own social media has been blowing up with enquiries from excited customers eager for Sephora to open.

“We are very proud Sephora chose the Trafford Centre for its next location, which will be its first store in the North of England, and know it will be a fantastic success and a great addition to our strong international brand line-up.”
