Morrisons Pharmacies will now offer free NHS Meningitis B vaccinations to eligible consumers.
It is also the lowest supermarket price available for those paying privately- £75. The retailer aims to make the injection more accessible to those “who need to pay privately”.
This comes as the NHS advises eligible Brits to get the vaccine.
John Parry, Head of Pharmacy at Morrisons said: “We’re here to support the health and wellness of all our customers. While many eligible customers can receive the vaccine for free through the NHS at one of our Morrisons Pharmacies, we know that those who don’t qualify can face significant costs if they choose to be vaccinated privately.
“That’s why we’re offering the MenB vaccine at its cost price. We want to make it as affordable as possible for customers.”
The service will be available at participating pharmacies. To find out if they are eligible consumers can speak to their local pharmacist.
