The Perfume Shop has become the latest retailer to unveil its Christmas 2026 campaign, with its focus on the emotional connection between perfume and festive memories.
Amy Danbrowsky, head of brand marketing at The Perfume Shop, said: “This Christmas we wanted a story that felt real, understated and full of heart. ‘Let Love Last’ captures something we believe deeply at The Perfume Shop – that gifting the right scent doesn’t just mark a moment, it can keep the feeling of it with you.
“Telling that through an ordinary family finding their way through a Christmas that feels different gave us an honest way to bring The Power of Perfume to life, and we think it’s a story many people will resonate with.”
This latest campaign builds on the brand’s ‘The Power of Perfume’ platform, which shifts it beyond selling fragrance to championing scent’s emotional and personal impact.
Developed with Boldspace, the platform positions perfume as a force that can change moods, trigger memories, build confidence and express individuality. It follows more than 30 years of specialist expertise, while creating greater emotional differentiation in a category where retailers often sell the same products.
The positioning is brought to life through a national campaign spanning film, social, digital and stores, using human stories and a distinctive black-and-white visual identity to make perfume’s invisible power tangible.
Additionally, The Perfume Shop is looking to hire 800 Christmas sales assistants, to work across its busy peak period.
Debenhams was the first retailer to launch a 2026 Christmas advert. On 15 October, it unveiled its advert featuring actors Emily Atack and Mathew Horne alongside singer Gabrielle. The campaign is centred on the retailer’s Christmas offering and the ease of shopping across its digital platform.
