Heathrow Airport will welcome a new Harry Potter shop in terminal five.

A new 600 sq ft store will open its doors on November 18 and sell themed souvenirs to the 16 million passengers who pass through the terminal each year.

Planned to open in time with the new Harry Potter film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them the shop will sell merchandise from the upcoming film.

Also on sale will be gifts and accessories from the new stage production Harry Potter and Cursed Child: Parts One and Two alongside gifts, novelties, apparel and souvenirs from the Platform 9 ¾ shop at Kings Cross Station.

 

 

Jonathan Sands, chief executive of the Kings Cross shop who spearheaded the new launch said: “We are proud to be opening the shop at Heathrow Terminal 5, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and look forward to bringing some of our magic to the UK‘s most iconic airport.”

Warner Bros vice president of licensing and business development EMEA Paul Bufton said: “Drawing on the huge success of the Platform 9 ¾ King‘s Cross Station shop, we‘re delighted to be able to announce The Harry Potter Shop at Heathrow.

“This shopping experience will offer fans a wide range of products from souvenirs to collectibles, along with exclusive Platform 9 ¾-inspired products to take on their journeys as they travel the world.”
