Mayfair‘s iconic Mount St has welcomed Milanese leather retailer Velextra‘s new flagship store.
On what is known colloquially as “handbag heaven”, the Italian luxury leather accessories retailer Velextra opened its doors alongside other luxury brands such as Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Celine and Loewe.
This is the first time Valextra has brought its brand to London, recruiting Post-Office Studio, the London home of renowned Canadian designer Philippe Malouin.

“I think that Valextra is a very architectural, minimal brand, and the shop needed to reflect those qualities,” Malouin said.
“The china finish on the edges look like architectural sketches that draw and outline the bags.”
