Burberry hires new heads of IT and merchandising

Burberry has hired Mark McClennon and Judy Collinson to join its senior management team as chief information officer and chief merchandising officer respectively.

McClennon, who will replace Fumbi Chima, has been at consumer goods giant Unilever for 29 years, working his way up to the role of chief information officer for the  company’s consumer arm.

McClennon will continue to be a non-executive director at fashion retailer Bonmarché once he starts at Burberry.

Meanwhile, Collinson will replace  Paul Price, who will leave the luxury British retailer in July.

Collinson will come from Christian Dior, where for the last years she has held the role of  senior vice-president of merchandising for the  brand’s US market.

Before Dior, Collinson was with Barneys New York for 22 years, working her way up to  executive vice-president, general merchandising manager women‘s.
