New Very Group retail managing director, former Fenwick chief executive Robbie Feather, has reshuffled his team and changed the structure of the retail division.
Feather, who joined the online retailer in November, has streamlined its categories from four – fashion, electricals, developing categories, and home – to two, leading to the exit of fashion director Emma Alexander and developing categories director Jeremy Stevens.
Current retail commercial director Sam Wright will lead the new fashion, sports, leisure and home category, while electricals boss Victoria Aldrich will head up the new electricals, beauty, toys and gift category, according to Retail Week.
Current home director Mike Wheeler will run a new retail operations team designed to tackle supply chain issues, focusing on stock management, availability and working with suppliers.
It is understood the structure changes will have no immediate impact on jobs within The Very Group.

A spokesperson for The Very Group said: “Building on the success of our category management approach, we’re reorganising our retail team to make it even simpler and more efficient, and to give our customers an even better experience.
“To do that, we’re combining our four category teams into two: fashion, sports, leisure and home; and electrical, beauty, toys and gifts.
“These enlarged category teams will be supported by a new retail operations team. This follows the recent appointment of Robbie Feather as managing director of retail and our strong Christmas trading performance.”
