Fat Face names new chief operating officer

// Fat Face promotes global operations director Mark Wright to chief operating officer
// Wright will be responsible for supply chain and logistics while overseeing the retailer’s warehouse distribution network

Fashion and lifestyle retailer Fat Face has promoted Mark Wright to the newly created role of chief operating officer.

Wright, who joined the business in 2019 has now stepped up from his role as global operations director with immediate effect.

He was previously managing director of multichannel at Jack Wills, and prior to that he was head of trading ecommerce at Marks & Spencer, initially starting out on the graduate training programme.

In the past three years his role extended to include oversight of Fat Face’s digital-first strategy and of customer experience, alongside store openings on the east coast of the US.

He will retain this remit in his new position while having additional responsibility for supply chain and logistics, overseeing the warehouse distribution network out of the brand’s Dunsbury Park site in Hampshire.
